The beach at Tavira Island is only a short ferry crossing and you will find a peaceful beach with warm blue water and white sand. ideal for all ages. The wonderfully secluded beaches of Manta Rota, Altura, Monte Gordo are well worth a visit to enjoy the different atmosphers of each town.

Travel inland or take a boat ride down the River Guadiana and visit the old villages of Foz de Odeleite and Almada do Ouro and experience basket making and enjoy the Portuguese food while you watch the world go by.
