These two rebuilt homes offer the best of both worlds. They are located in an area that was inhabited by families involved in the whaling industry.

When the whaling industry was shut down, most of the area was left behind as families emigrated for other places in search of work. What remained was a snapshot of another time and a different way of life.

The immediate area is sparsely populated and offers a wonderful vacation spot for those who need to unplug, get off the grid , and unwind from the stresses of the big city. We tried to maintain as much of the original homes as possible , while at the same time adding a little bit of luxury to make the stay that much more enjoyable.
